“I’m excited about Family ID tomorrow!  Can’t wait to see all of you!

Remember we’ll be having an offering tomorrow for the ministry that put the Family ID materials together.

We also have a need for someone to handle childcare (ages 0-10) tomorrow.  If you know someone who’d be willing, let me know.

For potluck, we still need one large pot of beans and 2 large containers of salsa.  Please let me know if any of you are able to help out with that.  If you’re on the list below, we’re counting on you to bring what you signed up for unless you let me know otherwise.

I just found out we’re having communion at church tomorrow.  So let’s take some time to prepare our hearts today for this special celebration of our salvation.  Let’s discuss as a family what it means, and use it as an opportunity to bring spiritual solidarity to our homes.  And let’s recommit our families to God like Joshua did–”As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord” (Josh 24:15).

Youth Lunch and Hike

Hey Friends,

I want to invite you to a haystack youth lunch at the Mancaos’ home after church this Sabbath.  Please bring something to contribute to our haystacks (lettuce, tomatoes, beans, corn chips, sour cream, cheese, salsa, hot sauce, olives, etc.).  Afterward, we are going to go on a hike together so make sure you have clothing for such.  I don’t recommend your church attire.  :-) I’m excited to spend this time with you.

If you need directions to the Mancaos’ house please talk to David, JC, or Margie.  They would be glad to help.  Maybe they could email their address out to everyone.

Margie, Joseph, and Gillian:  I will be a little late to this because I will be at Hiram and their services run a little longer.  Also this is Communion Sabbath there.  I will try to be at the Mancaos’ house as soon as possible.
